Next stop, Prambanan,,, the 9th century Hindu temple which bears the first carvings of the Ramayana epic (battle between good & evil).
Parts of the complex are open now that weren’t accessible when I was here last (June) because of the earthquake.
Our guide, an earthquake survivor himself, is still living in bamboo temporary shelter, and only recently out from a tent… 6 months after the quake struck.
