For dinner, Nina & I took everyone to our favorite restaurant, next to a rice field on Jl. Kaliurang, (Warung Sego Penyetan). It gave my newest friends a good taste of traditional Javanese food,,, complete with the experience of sitting on hard bamboo mats & eating with our fingers; mixing in pinches of sambal with every bite. (=

Indeed, we westerners were uniformly uncomfortable sitting on the floor within 5 minutes, but the atmosphere of the evening was great. Jalil took about 20 pictures everywhere we went. Ha ha!
