Highlights: chess last night, day #15 of the fast, computer day, food gift from the landlord

I forgot to mention playing a few rounds of chess with the guys down the street last night, as I was making my way home. (= I lost 2 straight, but gave the guys a run for their money. Almost had a stalemate in the 2nd game. Sorry papa! I’m rusty! Ha ha

This morning was the 2nd day in a row I was too lazy to get out of bed for the 3a.m. “sahur”. My tactic of stuffing my face before going to bed & just gritting my way through the next day is working eh,,, ok,, but I may have to shift strategies.

I’m determined to gut my way through the entire month. Ha ha. I like to finish the projects I start.

Speaking of projects,, I’ve been working on a stream of projects to bring my reporting up to snuff for all my bosses. It’ll be a long process, and I’m still at the beginning, but at least I have my descriptions of my everyday here to jog my memory and pluck out the interesting parts! Ultimately- keeping this website up will amount to more work,, too bad I can’t use it in my official capacity as a FAO! Ha ha. (=
Doesn’t mean it’s not helpful to guys following in my footsteps- I just can’t use it to show the boss in DC.
