The water puppet show was a great way to end the night. I wasn’t really sure what to expect before-hand. Water puppets? What is that?

Apparently the water puppet concept is unique to Vietnam, and is an old theatrical art depicting legends, history, comedy, and the daily life of Vietnamese people in a fun and impressive show with wood puppets controlled under the water from puppeteers behind a screen. It was really fun to watch. A must-see show for anyone passing through Hanoi (= and a good way to spend my last night in Vietnam. I said goodbye to Meg & the girls after the show.
