Highlights: flight physical at CamPen, simulator

I knocked out an important requirement this morning: updating my flight physical. Flight surgeons are hard to find in Jakarta. They’re not that easy to get a hold of in Washington DC or Monterey, California either, for that matter… the 3 places I’ve been in the last 3 years. So this annual requirement is important for making sure I’m medically qualified to be flying.

Flight schedule had me back in the Miramar simulator for more work. Thank-you sir, may I have another! Ha ha. Actually- it’s great that the squadron is getting me through the refresher syllabus so aggressively and quickly. My goal is to minimize my time here, so I can get back to Indonesia, and finish traveling & learning about the region… but there’s a lot of info to stuff in my head again in the meantime.. and not much time in between graded events. Oh well. The flying is coming back easier than expected,,, which is a good thing.
