I had a few hours before my flight home, so Pak Suwamana, Kadek Ayu and I ventured off to visit the Kedaton monkey forest. It’s similar to the one in Ubud, but bigger. Aside from being cute, the monkeys put on an interesting show of life as a monkey… constantly horsing around, begging for peanuts from tourists (like myself; bananas apparently make them more mischievous & aggressive, so peanuts only at this park), jumping from tree to tree, beating each other up, and male monkeys having their way with female monkeys at random in 10 second spurts. There’s no shame in the monkey world. (=
