After that we headed south to coast to visit Tanah Lot, one of the most photographically celebrated Hindu temples on Bali because of it’s unique location, perched atop an isolated cliff in the surf, with picturesque curling waves lapping at its feet. There were also a series of “holy snakes” there. I’m not entirely sure what that was all about. I pressed the “I believe” button & assumed it had more to do than adding to tourism curiousity. One such holy snake was a python, the other,,, a small black & grey striped coral snake or something.
