We also stopped at a traditional sugar cane production site, located in the back yard of one of pak Arman’s friends. A little off the beaten path- but a view few westerners drop in to see. The cow gets attached to the mill here & walks around in circles,, crushing the sugar cane into a sellable product. They work 4 days a week,,, today wasn’t one of them- but an interesting look at the tools of the trade. They were in the fields managing other produce today. I don’t think there is such as thing as a day off for farmers here… there’s always something that needs to get done.
