The graves of the Muslim kings are ornately kept and often visited, by all appearances. A copy of the Koran sits on the corner, for visitors to read & reflect on as they visit a distinguished ancestor. He is flanked by his wives and consorts, several children, and just outside his revered burial place are all the guards, servants, entertainers, and royal entourage. Only those with ties to the Keraton were authorized to be buried here, so close to the king.
