a look at the lush, thick forest out there in the middle of Sumatra. I was looking for tigers but didn't see any (= lots of reports of tigers from the villagers though. hmmmm.. maybe it's better to get the stories 2nd hand after-all. traditional houses are everywhere,,, deeeeeeeep in the countryside. it's not a city or tourist phenomenon at all here. very basic in the daily lives of Minang people even today. nice to see
