There were no fireworks,,, and we didn’t really leave the house this evening… but Nana (mom’s 24 year old half-sister,,, which makes her my younger brothers aunt?) just came back from a 6-week study abroad experience near Portland, Oregon! So I listened to her stories about that. She had a great time,,, and was surprised by how friendly & helpful Americans were there. I’m glad she had a good time!
