All of this is some 20 km from the mainland, and really quite amazing. Makes me wonder how long it was known only to a small group of people, and perhaps only among the floating villagers.
However long ago it was discovered, the long arm of human ingenuity has been here for enough time to carve a convenient footpath through the cave complex, and establish a great tour walk. They don’t take quite as much care in preventing people from manhandling the stalagmites as I’ve seen in other places (there’s just a litte grafitti, names of previous comers & who loves whom…) but Captain Jack Sparrow or any pirate would consider himself lucky to have a lair as cool as this.
