Splinter groups immediately took off for their favorite rides, but a solid chunk did manage to stay together for most of the day. The humble attempt at Bruce Springsteen-esque group uniforms proved immediately helpful in distinguishing ourselves among all the other kids & parents in the park.
We saddled up to the Merry-Go-Round first, then the Ferris Wheel & swinging Pirate Ship. The rides are a lot like Disneyland… they have most of the staple, signature rides, except for roller-coasters, of which there is 1 big and 1 kiddy one.
I think the bumper “bom bom” cars were a favorite for many of the parents. Sometimes a healthy dose of crashing your neighbors around is a good way of getting some steam out. (=
