Highlights: Krakatau, Lampung museum, Sutrisno’s family & shopping spree, train to Palembang

I was up & out the door at 5:30 to capitalize on an opportunity to go see Krakatau, what’s left of the once gigantic volcano that blew it’s top in 1883, and sent rock and ash 80 km into the air,,, settling as far away as New York City. I figured it was wort a visit. My driver (Sutrisno) and I jumped on the scooter for the 2 hour drive south to the harbor, where we could catch a ferry over. That was the plan.
