Half the family walked me over to the train station for my 9pm departure.
“Watch out for your bags,,, keep your wallet in your front pocket,,, try not to fall asleep too long,,, many of the pick-pockets are kids- and they work in teams, so be watchfull… bring water.” I was loaded up on advice before the engine lurched to life & started tugging.

For a town I had trouble remembering the name to just a few days ago, Bandar Lampung has become an interesting & memorable experience. I’ll miss it.
