Their home, just outside of Malang, is in Kepanjen. It’s been built up over the last 9 years. They bought it just after the financial crisis in ’98. At the time, this living room was pretty much the whole house! Slowly but surely they’ve built it up every couple years, extending back to double the size and number of rooms. Pretty hard to miss ‘dad’s’ favorite new toy, parked in the middle of the living room to dissuade sticky-finger neighborhood thievery.
