Highlights: market, cremation ceremony, wood carver shop, Kecak fire dance
We were given the gift & the curse of near absolute freedom… meaning the 12 of us were free to shoot off in all directions like a tourist grenade, which is what happened. Some of my friends- I won’t see again until the plane ride home.
That’s ok. With 4 days in Bali, there were many different ideas about how to spend it.
I walked up the street to Ubud market. (pasar Ubud) Shopping paradise for those who like to haggle.
Another passing observation: stray dogs are everywhere here. They walk about, sleep & hang out like the true owners of the streets & sidewalks.
