Vita is a great kid. I feel like a walking “make a wish” foundation when I’m with her. Ha ha. We dropped by the bookstore on the 3rd floor, and her eyes got wide,,, so I said “pick any three books you want.” She picked out 2 for herself & 1 for her younger brothers.
Then we went to the 2nd floor, and didn’t quite get past the kids ‘accessories’ section. I wasn’t sure if she had ever experienced being able to pick out anything she wanted before,, so again, “pick out any three things.” She was scrupulous… There were a hundred necklaces, bracelets, pencil bags, glittery gadgets & gizmos that she would have loved… she took 15 minutes to pick out just the right necklace & pencil bag. (= ha ha. It was fun following along & giving her a rare shopping spree.
On the 1st floor, I was after a few snacks (my original purpose for going to the store). Again,, “pick out any 3 things…” She picked out movie snacks for her & her brothers. I threw in a few bags of M&Ms and juices. (=
$20 made a memorable afternoon for a great young lady.
