Highlights: worked from home, visited Eli’s home, Ramadan gifts, worked all night, paid OHA!
Day #20 of Ramadan fasting month. I didn’t make it out of bed at 3am again today. =/ ahh! Sucks a little bit- but if Gandhi can do this for months on end- and all the starving folks that eat on $1 a day or less,,, I’ve got no problems.
I think I mentioned earlier that the international servers are acting up, and not letting me send e-mails to my bosses in DC, or to any “.mil” e-mail.
Yahoo hasn’t constructed an obstacle yet that a properly motivated Marine can’t find his way around! The Marine Security Guards helped me out by forwarding my e-mails through their state.gov e-mail accounts. (saves me an hour trip to the embassy!)
At 3 today, after playing a little hide & seek with my pembantu (Eli’s) 3 year old son, I walked them home so I can see how they live.
