Highlights: Bantul invitation to pak Parjiman’s house & hometown, hung out at home with Nina & my host family
Jonathan’s scooter service was running right on time this morning (6:30am) with direct service from Nina’s kos to class…
At noon, I met mbak Indah (the UNY student who organized the ‘learn to debate’ class at a high-school in Bantul, where I volunteered last month), and the two of us were invited to pak Parjiman’s house in the South-Western part of the Bantul district.
Pak Parjiman was the English teacher of that Bantul high school class.
It took an hour to get there by scooter, but it was a part of Bantul I hadn’t seen before, and a scenic trip.
