I do plan on coming back here sometime before I leave Indonesia next year, and am looking forward to keeping in touch with Tanwir & his family and anxious to see the development that takes place in the meantime. Hopefully they will be in a “semi permanent” home of their own by spring-time… which is what they are hoping for.

After lunch in the food shack, we headed a few hundred meters down the road to the beach & to see the one building in this area still standing after the tsunami… the mosque.
