A few hours later the USINDO gang piled into an airplane,, Bali bound! One 45 minute flight later,, we got in vans & drove an hour north of Denpasar to our hotel in Ubud, the “cultural center” of Bali. It was Friday, we were excited to be here and the night was still young- so a few of us went out for pizza & drinks… the bar across the street had the look of Margaritaville, mixed with a liveliness factor of a Greyhound station at 2am. Which is to say we were the evening crowd.
