Highlights: batik shop in Solo, becak, coming home

Solo is well known for making batik. We’re going to have a whole class on this in school, but every pattern of batik has a story, and every area of Indonesia uses it’s own colors & designs. We got to walk through a batik shop & see the whole process. It can be really time consuming. The fanciest batiks take upwards of 1 year to produce! I’d be afraid to wear something like that out (=
